This figurine of a horse-drawn sleigh with a man and woman aboard has a simple charm. The group consists of eight pieces in all. The artist took care with this work, and even gave the man a hat made of a separate piece of wood. The man is seated next to a female figure that wears a red bonnet. The wooden horse is painted as a pinto, and its leather harness is lashed to a moveable hitch. The horse is glued to its harness to discourage escape, and the sleigh is joined with glue and nails. The mark is in pencil on the sleigh.
