Gardens of Glass: The Art of Craig Mitchell Smith

Thirty larger-than-life floral and other forms will be on display throughout the MSV gardens in the exhibition, Gardens of Glass: The Art of Craig Mitchell Smith. The Charlevoix, Michigan, artist has been creating floral forms in kiln-fired glass since 2006, and his revolutionary techniques have made him one of the most innovative kiln-glass artists in America. Smith’s artwork has been displayed in Epcot Center in Disney World, Missouri Botanical Garden, and many other locations. Exclusively for the MSV display, Smith will create a piece evoking apple blossoms.
