Host Your Event at the MSV
The MSV would love to host your corporate party, meeting, client event, fundraiser, or reception. The beautifully renovated Glen Burnie House and surrounding gardens and the MSV Reception Hall are just a few of the unique spaces at the Museum. Through the MSV Art of Business Program, corporate partners may receive one free rental space each year. Audio Visual Needs
The MSV does have A/V equipment available for rent; ask for details and pricing.
Basic white linens are available for rent from the MSV at $5 each. If you are looking for a broader selection, other recommended vendors who offer a wide variety of linens for rent will be provided.
Tables & Chairs
The MSV has a limited number of round and rectangular tables for rent as well as basic chairs. If you are looking for a broader selection, other recommended vendors who offer a wide variety of linens for rent will be provided.

- The property must be cleaned and vacated by 9 p.m. on Sunday–Thursday evenings and by 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings.
- The fees listed above do not apply for weddings and receptions.
- All event bookings are confirmed with a signed Letter of Agreement and a 50% deposit.
The MSV frequently partners with several vendors that are members of the Shenandoah Wedding Professionals group.
For cancellations received at least 180 days or more prior to an event, the portion of the rental fee already paid will be refunded less a 30% administrative fee. Allow ten business days for refund processing. Cancellations made less than 180 days to the event will result in forfeiture of the entire rental fee paid to date. Cancellations must be made in writing.
Glen Burnie House
The beautifully renovated Glen Burnie House includes a formal Drawing Room, Library, use of the adjacent Terrace, and all Glen Burnie Garden spaces.

Glen Burnie Garden Spaces
A variety of garden “rooms” are available for outdoor events. Tents may be rented for additional covered outdoor venues.

This unique hall with wooden beams is a beautiful indoor option. For larger events, the patio adjacent to this space can be used but may require the rental of a tent.
- 64 guests (seated luncheon)
- 120 guests (lecture-style seating)
- 200+ guests (cocktail-style reception)
- Additional capacity available with the use of the Reception Hall patio.
Reception Hall, Lobby & Hallways
For a larger indoor venue option, rent the first floor of the MSV! Ask for details about having the Museum galleries open for your guests to enjoy.

BB&T Learning Center
A great space for meetings, training sessions, and staff retreats, the BB&T Learning Center is set up classroom-style with existing furniture. The room has A/V capabilities.
