Fraktur

Date: 1825

This certificate for Elizabeth Fries was made with gall ink and watercolors. The design page features a pair of birds and entwined ribbons. The Fries family name is linked with Winchester and other areas, but to date no other record of Elizabeth Fries is known. Was she related to Susan Fries Streit or Margaret Fries? This same artist made Fraktur in 1816 and 1818 respectively for them. Perhaps future research will provide the answer.
