Celebrate National Trails Day with a variety of FREE and fun activities on the Trails for all ages.
- 8:30–9:30 a.m. Free outdoor yoga with Shirley Dunsmore at the Standing Stone Circle on the Trails.
- 8:30–11 a.m. Free activities with Valley Health Heart & Vascular and Wellness Services teams on the Reception Hall Patio: warm-up stretches, opportunity to “walk & talk” on the Trails with a doctor to learn about reducing risks for cardiovascular disease, blood pressure checks, healthy diet & nutrition info, and a kids’ area. - 10:30–11:30 a.m. Free storytelling with Sandra Scott on the grassy area near the Reception Hall patio.
The MSV activities are part of a National Trails Day Celebration taking place at three locations along the Green Circle Trail. Get info here about what’s happening at the Abrams Creek Wetlands Preserve and Wilkins Lake. Stop by all three locations to complete a Trail Stop passport for a chance to win a 1-month membership to Winchester’s Rec. Center. Download a passport here.
Admission to The Trails at the MSV and National Trails Day activities are free to all. Admission fees apply to tour the galleries building and the gardens, including ORGAMI IN THE GARDEN. Presented in partnership with Winchester Parks & Rec and Valley Health Heart & Vascular.
