MSV Policies on Refunds, Photography, and COVID-19 updates

Gardens at Night Concert Tickets: No refunds for Gardens at Night ticket purchases unless the concert is cancelled by the MSV. In all other instances, sales are final. Concert is rain/shine.

Refunds for Programs: Programs are held rain, snow, or shine, unless notified otherwise. Cancellations 5 days prior to the program or event date will be refunded, less 20% of the registration fee ($5 minimum). No refunds will be given for cancellations made 1-4 days prior to the program/event date. Allow ten business days for refund processing. Programs cancelled by the MSV due to low enrollment or inclement weather conditions will be refunded in full or given a full credit towards a future program to be used within the year.

Photography: While at the MSV, you may be filmed, videotaped, and/or photographed by an MSV employee or contract photographer. Your attendance/program participation serves as permission for the use of your image by the MSV and its constituents.

COVID-19 Update: To help keep all guests, staff, and volunteers and their families healthy, we encourage everyone—vaccinated and unvaccinated—to wear a mask when inside any MSV building. Don’t have a mask handy? No problem, just ask for one at the Guest Services desk located in the galleries building lobby or at the Gate House entrance to the gardens (for visiting the Glen Burnie House). Masks are required indoors for unvaccinated visitors.

All participants in MSV youth and family programming are required to wear a mask during indoor programs. In accordance with CDC guidelines and state mandates, participants in K–12 public and private school outings at the MSV will be required to wear masks. Vaccinated participants in indoor programs for ages 18+ are strongly encouraged to wear a mask; masks are required for unvaccinated participants attending indoor adult programs. Participants in all outdoor programs are required to bring a face mask or covering with them to wear during check-in and as needed during certain portions of the program.

Your attendance/participation in any in-person event serves as an agreement to abide by physical distancing guidelines and wear a face covering or mask when requested to by the instructor or MSV staff. Participants in onsite programs acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and are voluntarily participating. If you are feeling at all unwell or have any flu like symptoms (cough, aches, sore throat, fever, etc.) please notify us that you will not be attending the program and the MSV will issue a full refund.
