In the late 1800s, three women—two nationally recognized artists and a writer—all lived and worked at Fisher’s Hill in Shenandoah County, yet no one remembers them. After reading about their studio in an old newspaper, three Valley researchers set out to uncover the ladies’ stories. During this online program hosted on Zoom, researchers Cheryl Lyon, Hope Brim, and Neil Thorne share their fascinating discoveries and details about the Fisher’s Hill Ladies Project.
