Before the 1950s, hikers on the Appalachian Trail walked a different route more than 50 miles to the east of the current trail. Join Mills Kelly—lifelong hiker, historian, and author of Virginia’s Lost Appalachian Trail—for this fascinating talk about 300 miles of the AT all but forgotten by hikers, but not by the residents of the Southwestern Virginia counties where the trail used to cross.

Pay what you can: $2–$15; register online by July 19; visit www.TheMSV.org or or call 540-662-1473, ext. 240. Walk-ins welcome as space permits.
