Learn about the hidden histories of African American cemeteries in the Shenandoah Valley with author and historian Lynn Rainville. A public historian who has studied Virginia’s historic cemeteries, enslaved communities, and segregated schools, Rainville has written numerous articles and books on African Americans in Virginia. Bring a sack lunch.
