Explore the legacy of the longest-serving Black teacher at Storer College in Harpers Ferry with Lynn Pechuekonis, author of A Man of Sterling Worth. Recently published, the book tells the story of Professor William Saunders, who was known as an advocate for struggling youth, a trusted spiritual leader, and an important figure in the thriving Black community living beyond Storer’s campus.
