June 22 & 29 ∙ 9 a.m.–noon

In this drop-off workshop for ages 8 and older, participants will explore the MSV Trails, observe and identify wildlife and plants, and enjoy nature-based crafts and activities. Workshops will vary from week to week so sign up for one or more. During each workshop, participants will discuss different themes in the woods, wetlands, and gardens and complete nature-based projects like pollinator hotels, terrariums, and more (activities will be determined based on the weather, what’s blooming in the gardens, and what we discover each week).

Led by MSV Youth and Family Programs Manager Curry Schiavone and MSV Educator Sarah Perks. This program also takes place on Wednesday, July 6, 13, 20, & 27; sign up for July programs here.

MSV members: $24 per session; all others: $30 per session. Registration required two days prior to the program; sign up online or call 540-662-1473, ext. 240.
