This concert in the Glen Burnie House drawing room concludes the 2025–26 season of Classical at the MSV with two masterworks of the string quartet repertoire. Mozart’s String Quartet No. 19, “Dissonance”—one of his most daring and harmonically inventive works—is paired with Maurice Ravel’s String Quartet in F Major, an impressionistic piece that has become a defining classic of the genre. The program reunites Winchester musicians Nadège Foofat (viola) and Julian Schwarz (cello) with guest violinists Adrienne Caravan and Max Zorin. The experience includes a pre-concert talk with the musicians and a wine-and-cheese reception following the performance.
MSV members: $50; all others: $65 (includes concert and wine & cheese reception). Space is limited; get tickets at www.theMSV.org or call 540-662-1473, ext. 240.
