During this intimate concert in the Glen Burnie House drawing room, New York City-based violinist Georgy Valtchev, and pianist Lora Tchekoratova, join cellist Julian Schwarz and artistic director and violist Nadège Foofat for an afternoon celebrating the piano quartet. The program will feature the French composer Gabriel Fauré’s elegant Piano Quartet No.1 and the dramatic Piano Quartet No.1 by Johannes Brahm, one of Germany’s greatest composers. The experience includes a pre-concert talk with the musicians and a wine-and-cheese reception following the performance.
