Vern Heavner
Meet Vern Heavner who has run 2 miles every day—without a day off—for almost 6 years. Vern recently celebrated his 2000th day running streak—but he has not stopped there. He continues to run every day and donates $1 to The Trails at the MSV for every mile he completes. Vern has donated $1 for every mile to various charities for two and a half years. Vern has expressed why he decided to donate to the trails: “I love running and since the MSV is creating new places to run why not [donate to The MSV Trails].”
