Happy Easter! Are you ready for the Easter Bunny, or should I say Bunnies? If not, how about sharing some “Carrot” and “Cake” with this playful pair of carvings by folk artist John L. Heatwole (1948-2006)? “Carrot” and “Cake” are two carvings from a large group Heatwole made for a single customer—restauranteur Rudy Evers of Mount Crawford—eleven of which are now in the MSV Collection. Look for more on this spectacular group in a future Collections Blog post!
