The Trails at the MSV project is opening 90 acres of the MSV landscape to the public for the first time. The Trails will be constantly changing and growing as new art installations are added and rustic trails are installed. When The Trails at the MSV opens on November 25, 2020, construction will still be underway on the Wetlands Boardwalk section with the aim of completing that section around the end of December.

Shortly after opening, look for a one-of-a-kind bus stop bench outside the new MSV entrance on Amherst Street inspired by the iconic Shenandoah River and created by metalsmith Andrew White. Upcoming installations include a carved sculpture by Valley artist Glenn Richardson, and later in 2021, a treehouse will built around a walnut tree on the Sycamore Trail.
