The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley (MSV) contains four gallery spaces, all housed on the second level of the main Museum building. Masks are welcome, but not required in the MSV galleries building.

In the Shenandoah Valley Gallery, objects, multi-media presentations, and dioramas explore the sweep of Valley history, and two additional rooms display changing exhibitions highlighting the Valley’s decorative arts.

The Founders Gallery presents rotating exhibitions featuring objects from the MSV Shenandoah Valley Collection and the collection acquired by MSV benefactor Julian Wood Glass Jr.

The R. Lee Taylor Miniatures Gallery is home to a fascinating collection of furnished miniature houses and rooms assembled by R. Lee Taylor (1924–2000), the Museum’s late Curator of Gardens. This gallery also presents four miniature shadowboxes created by Valley miniatures artist William P. Massey (active late 1930s to late 1940s).

The Changing Exhibitions Gallery displays continually changing exhibitions throughout the year.
